How Roux fixes it

The venue builds and publishes the roster. Staff see the week once it's published.

Staff clock on at the wall iPad — name and 4-digit PIN.

Managers approve the clocks. Only approved clocks go to payroll — never the roster plan.

Approved hours go to Xero as a draft, split Mon–Fri ordinary, Saturday, Sunday and overtime (after 38 ordinary hours: the first 2 overtime hours, then double time). Public holidays apply once the venue's state is set.
